Dallas Mavericks at Milwaukee Bucks 10/15/21 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Dallas Mavericks conclude their NBA preseason with a visit on Friday to the defending NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks. Dallas is 3-0 in the preseason following a 127-59 victory over the Charlotte Hornets. Dallas was led in the victory by Tim Hardaway Jr with 20 points. The Mavericks defense held Charlotte to 18 points or less in each of the four quarters. The Mavericks shot 51.1% overall and held Charlotte to 27.4% shooting.

Dallas outrebounded Charlotte 59-43 and handed out 29 assists compared to only 10 for the Hornets. The Mavericks turned the ball over 11 times and forced Charlotte into making 24 turnovers. Reggie Bullock missed Wednesday's victory over Orlando due to personal reasons and his status is not known for Friday's game versus Milwaukee.

Milwaukee is 1-3 in the preseason following a 124-120 loss to the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night. Khris Middleton was the leading scorer for Milwaukee with 25 points, while Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 21 points. The leading rebounder was Sandro Mamukelashvili with seven. Milwaukee shot 46.6% overall and 41.0% from 3-point territory.

The Bucks were outrebounded by Utah 48-43, but Milwaukee did have an advantage in turnovers committing just 12 compared to 19 for Utah. Milwaukee’s starters in Wednesday’s loss; Antetokounmpo, Middleton, Brook Lopez, Jrue Holiday and Grayson Allen are expected to be the starting five on opening night. Bobby Portis, Semi Ojeleye and Donte DiVincenzo are out injured.
