American Airlines Arena will play host to a Tuesday night NBA clash between the Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat. The Mavericks (36-28) have won 19 of their 32 road games and are locked in a three-way tie for fifth place in the West. On Sunday, Dallas allowed Sacramento to shoot 56 percent from the field during a 111-99 home loss. 

All-Star G Luka Doncic led all scorers with 30 points to go along with six rebounds and six assists. Jalen Brunson added 17 points in 26 minutes off the bench for the Mavericks.

The Miami Heat have won three straight games and have moved into a tie with Atlanta for fifth place in the East. On Sunday, Miami outscored Charlotte by 13 points during the third quarter to pull away for a 121-111 road victory. The Heat (35-30) assisted on 30 of their 45 made field goals and shot 51 percent overall.

Bam Adebayo led six Miami players in double figures with 20 points, ten assists, and seven rebounds. Jimmy Butler contributed 18 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists for the Heat.
