Paul George is expected to make his long awaited season debut, when the Los Angeles Clippers invade the Smoothie King Center to face the New Orleans Pelicans. This will be the second of a back-to-back for Los Angeles, who had no answer for James Harden (47 points) during a 102-93 road loss against Houston last night. The Clippers were outscored by 16 points in the first quarter and shot just 39 percent overall.

Kawhi Leonard led Los Angeles with 26 points to go along with 12 rebounds and seven assists. The rest of the starters managed just 22 points on a combined 10-for-23 from the field.

The New Orleans Pelicans are playing without number one overall draft pick Zion Williamson (knee) and have lost eight of their first ten games. Defense has been the issue for the Pelicans, who are allowing a league worst 122.4 points on average. On Monday, New Orleans allowed Houston to shoot 52 percent from the field during a 122-116 home loss.

J.J. Redick led six New Orleans players in double figures with 24 points on 7-for-15 from the three-point line. Jrue Holiday added 18 points and 11 assists in a losing effort for the Pelicans.

New Orleans F Brandon Ingram (knee) will be a game-time decision and G Lonzo Ball (right adductor strain) has been officially ruled out. The Clippers picked the right team to bring George back against and the Clippers will cruise to an easy victory. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Clippers win and cover ATS 121-108.
