In the first game of a Tuesday night NBA TV doubleheader, the Cleveland Cavaliers will visit the Brooklyn Nets. The Cavaliers (45-28) have won seven of their last ten games and hold a 2.5 game lead over New York for fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Friday, Cleveland built a 17-point halftime lead and never looked back during a 117-94 home victory versus Washington.

Cleveland G Darius Garland led all scorers with 24 points on 11-for-19 shooting and dished out nine assists. All-Star G Donovan Mitchell and F Evan Mobley chipped in 20 points apiece on a combined 19-for-34 shooting effort for the Cavaliers.

The Brooklyn Nets are looking to snap a three-game losing streak and have fallen 2.5 games behind New York for fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Sunday, Brooklyn trailed by 12 points after one quarter and fought to the end during a 108-102 home loss versus Denver. The Nets (39-32) were outrebounded by a 40-33 margin and allowed the Nuggets to shoot 53 percent from the field.

Brooklyn F Mikal Bridges tallied a team-high 23 points on 8-for-18 shooting and finished with a minus 16 rating. Nicolas Claxton added 19 points (9-12 FG) and eight rebounds for the Nets. Seth Curry nailed 4-for-5 from long range and finished with 12 points. 

Cleveland C Jarrett Allen has missed the last four games with a left eye contusion and is listed as questionable for this contest.
