Chicago Bulls at Brooklyn Nets 11/1/22 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In the first game of a Tuesday night NBA on TNT doubleheader, the Chicago Bulls will battle the Brooklyn Nets from the Barclays Center. The Bulls (3-4) have dropped consecutive games and are scoring 112.7 points per contest. On Saturday, Chicago was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 114-109 home loss versus Philadelphia. The Bulls turned the ball over 18 times and trailed by as many as 19 points.

All-Star G/F DeMar DeRozan led Chicago with 24 points on 7-for-12 shooting and dished out four assists. C Nikola Vucevic added 23 points and 19 rebounds for the Bulls, who shot 45 percent from the field.

The Brooklyn Nets suffered through a tumultuous offseason and they have failed to show much cohesion on the court. The Nets have a talented scoring duo in Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, but currently rank 29th in the league in defensive efficiency. Last night, Brooklyn raced out to a 15-point lead after one quarter and coasted to a 116-109 home victory versus Indiana.

All-Star F Kevin Durant poured in a game-high 36 points (13-22 FG) to go along with nine rebounds and seven assists. Kyrie Irving contributed 28 points, six rebounds, and six assists for the Nets. Brooklyn assisted on 26 of their 43 made field goals and shot 54 percent overall.

Brooklyn F Ben Simmons (left knee soreness) did not play last night and his status for this game is uncertain. These two teams rank in the top ten in tempo and have far more offensive talent than defensive prowess. Take the over. Final Score Prediction, Brooklyn Nets win 121-119.
