Southeast Division rivals will clash on Tuesday night, when the Charlotte Hornets travel to Ftx Arena to face the Miami Heat. The Hornets (40-38) have won seven of their last ten games and are tied with Brooklyn for ninth place in the East. On Saturday, Charlotte allowed Philadelphia to shoot 61 percent from the field during an ugly 144-114 road loss.

All five Charlotte starters scored in double figures and were led by Miles Bridges with 20 points. LaMelo Ball added 13 points and five assists in a losing effort for the Hornets.

The Miami Heat are riding a four-game winning streak and hold a two-game lead over Boston for first place in the East. On Sunday, Miami outscored Toronto by 15 points during the second half to rally for a 114-109 road victory. The Heat (51-28) nailed 18-for-38 from long distance and shot 52 percent overall.

Max Strus led six Miami players in double figures with 23 points on 7-for-9 from the three-point line. Victor Oladipo contributed 21 points and four assists in 27 minutes off the Heat bench.
