Southeast Division foes will battle on Wednesday night, when the Charlotte Hornets travel to American Airlines Arena to take on the Miami Heat. The Hornets (22-42) have dropped 21 of their 33 road games and are seven games out of playoff contention in the East. On Monday, Charlotte took host Atlanta to double overtime before falling by a 143-138 final score.

Charlotte G Terry Rozier poured in a game-high 40 points on a 15-for-26 shooting performance. Devonte’ Graham added 27 points and ten assists for the Hornets.

The Miami Heat have won 27 of their 31 home games and lead Indiana by two games for fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Sunday, Miami outscored Washington by 11 points during the fourth quarter to pull away for a 100-89 road victory. The Heat (41-23) outrebounded the Wizards by a 56-38 margin and shot 49 percent from the field. 

Miami F/C Bam Adebayo matched a game-high with 27 points to go along with 14 rebounds and six assists. Duncan Robinson nailed seven three-pointers and finished with 23 points for the Heat.
