Charlotte Hornets at Cleveland Cavaliers 10/22/21 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Friday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Charlotte Hornets and the Cleveland Cavaliers from Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. The Charlotte Hornets are one of the most exciting teams in the league and are led by playmaking G LaMelo Bell (6.1 apg). On Wednesday, Charlotte rallied from a 16-point halftime deficit to earn a 123-122 home victory versus Indiana. 

LaMelo Ball led six Charlotte players in double figures with 31 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Gordon Hayward contributed 27 points and five rebounds for the Hornets. 

It was another forgetful season for the Cleveland Cavaliers, who finished 13th in the Eastern Conference standings and last in the league in scoring (103.8 ppg). G Collin Sexton led the Cavaliers in scoring (24.3) and looks like a future All-Star. On Wednesday, Cleveland allowed Memphis to shoot 53 percent from the field during a 132-121 road loss.

All five Cleveland starters scored in double figures and were led by Jarrett Allen with 25 points. Rookie F Evan Mobley added 17 points and nine rebounds for the Cavaliers.
