Boston G Kyrie Irving tallied a team high 26 points on 8-for-16 shooting and dished out 13 assists. Marcus Morris chipped in 22 points and four rebounds for the Celtics.
The San Antonio Spurs have won seven of their previous ten games and are currently in a virtual tie with Sacramento for eighth place in the West. On Saturday, San Antonio outscored the Los Angeles Clippers by 20 points during the third quarter of a 122-111 road victory. The Spurs forced 18 turnovers and shot 51 percent from the field.
LaMarcus Aldridge poured in a game high 38 points on 14-for-23 shooting an grabbed seven rebounds. DeMar DeRozan contributed 25 points and 13 rebounds for the Spurs.
