In the first game of a Tuesday night NBA on TNT doubleheader, the Boston Celtics will invade the Wells Fargo Center to take on the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Celtics have split their 26 road games and trail the 76ers by one full game for fourth place in the East. On Saturday, Boston blew a 28-point lead during a disappointing 123-112 home loss versus Los Angeles. The Celtics allowed the Clippers to score 70 points in the second half.

Gordon Hayward led six Boston players in double figures with 19 points and five rebounds. Jayson Tatum added 16 points and eight rebounds for the Celtics.
The Philadelphia 76ers have won 23 of their 29 home games so far this season and trail Indiana by one full game for third place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Sunday, Philadelphia scored 30 plus points during each quarter of a 143-120 home victory versus Los Angeles. The 76ers knocked down 12-for-24 from long distance and shot a sizzling 58 percent overall.

All-Star C Joel Embiid poured in a team high 37 points on 12-for-16 from the field and grabbed 14 rebounds. Tobias Harris contributed 22 points and six rebounds for the 76ers.

Boston G Kyrie Irving is dealing with a strained right knee and will not play in this important matchup. These two teams rank in the top ten in defensive efficiency, so the under is worth a look. The stronger play is on Philadelphia to win and cover at home. Final Score Prediction, Philadelphia 76ers win and cover ATS 117-107.
