Cavaliers at Kings 4/4/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In Thursday night NBA action, the Cleveland Cavaliers will invade the Golden 1 Center to face the Sacramento Kings.

The Cavaliers have lost six straight games and own the third worst record in the league. On Monday, Cleveland trailed by 19 points at halftime of a 122-113 road loss against Phoenix. The Cavaliers won the battle on the boards by a 48-40 margin and allowed the Suns to shoot 55 percent from the field.

Rookie Collin Sexton led Cleveland with 21 points on a 9-for-23 shooting performance. Jordan Clarkson added 20 points and six rebounds off the bench for the Cavaliers. The Sacramento Kings have split their previous ten games and were the last team to be eliminated from postseason contention in the Western Conference. On Tuesday, Sacramento fell behind by 16 points at the break and never made things close during a 130-105 home loss versus Houston. The Kings outrebounded the Rockets by a 61-51 margin and shot 44 percent from the floor.

Buddy Hield led five Sacramento players in double figures with 20 points on 8-for-16 shooting. Marvin Bagley chipped in 19 points and eight rebounds for the Kings.

Sacramento C Harry Giles is dealing with a left thigh bruise and has been shut down for the remainder of the season. The Cavaliers rank last in defensive efficiency and the Kings rank third in tempo, so the over is my lean on the total. Take the points with Cleveland on Thursday. Final Score Prediction, Sacramento Kings win but fall short ATS 117-114.
