On Friday, Atlanta raced out to a 15-point lead after one quarter and prevailed in overtime during a 123-120 victory at Minnesota. The Hawks outrebounded the Timberwolves by a 58-47 margin and turned the ball over 24 times on the night.
All five Atlanta starters scored in double figures and were led by Kent Bazemore with 23 points. John Collins contributed 21 points and ten rebounds for the Hawks.
