The Cavaliers outscored the Celtics by 16 points during the second quarter and never trailed the rest of the game. Cleveland won the battle on the boards by a 54-41 margin and shot 47 percent overall.
LeBron James led all scorers with 46 points on 17-for-33 from the field to go along with 11 rebounds and nine assists. George Hill chipped in 20 points on a 7-for-12 shooting performance.
The Boston Celtics have won their three home games this series by an average of 17 points. In Game Six, Boston trimmed the lead to seven points in the fourth quarter but could get no closer. The Celtics shot 51 percent from the field and assisted on 25 of their 38 made field goals. Boston also connected on 12 of their 28 three-point attempts.
Terry Rozier tallied a team high 28 points on 10-for-16 from the floor and dished out seven assists. Jaylen Brown contributed 27 points on 18 shots for the Celtics.
