In Wednesday night NBA action, the Cleveland Cavaliers will travel to TD Garden to battle the Boston Celtics.
The Cavaliers have lost four straight games and currently are in possession of the worst record in the league. On Monday, Cleveland was outscored by 13 points during the first quarter of a 104-88 home loss versus Chicago. The Cavaliers missed 21 of their 27 long distance attempts and shot an ice-cold 36 percent overall.
Rookie G Collin Sexton led Cleveland with 18 points on a 7-for-17 shooting performance. Ante Zizic added 13 points and nine rebounds in a losing effort for the Cavaliers.
The Boston Celtics have won four straight games and are looking to ascend to the top of the Eastern Conference standings. On Monday, Boston outscored Miami by 19 points during the third quarter of a 107-99 home victory. The Celtics knocked down 12 of their 30 three-point attempts and shot 49 percent overall.
Boston G Kyrie Irving led all scorers with 26 points to go along with ten assists and eight steals. Jayson Tatum contributed 19 points and six rebounds for the Celtics.
