In Sunday night NBA action, the Chicago Bulls will travel to ScotiaBank Arena to face the Toronto Raptors.
The Bulls have lost 13 of their 18 road games and own the third worst record in the Eastern Conference. On Friday, Chicago exploded for 61 points during the second half of a 101-92 road victory against Washington. The Bulls converted 19 of their 25 free throw attempts and limited the Wizards to 40 percent from the field.
All five Chicago starters scored in double figures and were led by Zach LaVine with 24 points. Rookie Wendell Carter Jr. contributed 17 points and 13 rebounds for the Bulls.
The Toronto Raptors have won 13 of their first 17 home games and are in a virtual tie with Milwaukee for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. On Friday, Toronto was outscored by 20 points during the third quarter of a 116-87 road loss against Orlando. The Raptors shot a season-low 30 percent from the field and were outrebounded by a 69-55 margin.
Toronto F Kawhi Leonard tallied a team high 21 points on 7-for-19 shooting and grabbed six rebounds. Serge Ibaka added 17 points and eight rebounds in a losing effort for the Raptors.
