Brooklyn Nets at Minnesota Timberwolves 4/12/21 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Brooklyn Nets look to bounce back from a loss when visiting the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday. Brooklyn is 36-17 following a 126-101 lost to the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday. Kevin Durant was the leading scorer for Brooklyn in the loss with 22 points. Brooklyn guard Kyrie Irving was ejected along with Los Angeles guard Dennis Schroder. Brooklyn is tied for first place in the Atlantic division with Philadelphia.

The Timberwolves are last in the Northwest division 27 games behind first-place Utah.

D'Angelo Russell is the second-leading scorer with an average of 19.7 points per game and one of the five players averaging double-figures for Minnesota. Minnesota is scoring an average of 110.3 points per game while allowing an average of 117.3 points per game.

While the OVER is a solid choice here, the play is the Nets. Brooklyn will bounce back with a strong effort behind its stars James Harden, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving on Monday against Minnesota. The Timberwolves will be completing a back-to-back and Minnesota has lost each of its last two and four of the last five, while failing to cover six of its last eight overall.
