The Tuesday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Brooklyn Nets and the Charlotte Hornets from the Spectrum Center. The Nets (32-33) are looking to snap a four-game losing streak and are locked in a three-way tie for eighth place in the East. On Sunday, Brooklyn had no answer for Boston F Jayson Tatum (54 points) during a 126-120 road loss.

All-Star F Kevin Durant led Brooklyn with 37 points to go along with eight assists and six rebounds. Kyrie Irving added 19 points and six assists for the Nets.

The Charlotte Hornets have won consecutive games and are also locked in a three-way tie 2.5 games behind seventh place Toronto. On Saturday, Charlotte was able to make the plays down the stretch to earn a 123-117 home victory versus San Antonio. The Hornets (32-33) assisted on 29 of their 42 made field goals and shot 46 percent overall.

Terry Rozier led seven Charlotte players in double figures with 31 points and six assists. LaMelo Ball contributed 24 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists for the Hornets.

Brooklyn G Cam Thomas tweaked his back in Sunday’s loss and is listed as questionable for this game. The Nets will have Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving on the floor, which makes them better than the Hornets. Final Score Prediction, Brooklyn Nets win 124-115.
