Brooklyn Nets at Boston Celtics 5/30/21 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In the first game of a Sunday night NBA on TNT playoff doubleheader, the Brooklyn Nets and the Boston Celtics will square off at TD Garden. Brooklyn took the first two games of this series at home, but lost Game Three on Friday night by a 125-119 final score. The second-seeded Nets connected on 16-for-38 from long distance and converted 27 of 31 from the charity stripe.

All-Star G James Harden tallied a team-high 41 points to go along with ten assists and seven rebounds. Kvein Durant added 39 points and nine rebounds for the Nets.

The Boston Celtics won 21 of their 36 home games during the regular season and are playing without Jaylen Brown (wrist) for the entire postseason. In Game Three, Boston outscored Brooklyn by eight points during the third quarter and never trailed during the fourth quarter. The Celtics outrebounded the Nets by a 46-37 margin and shot 51 percent from the field.

All-Star F Jayson Tatum poured in a game-high 50 points on 16-for-30 shooting and dished out seven assists. Marcus Smart chipped in 23 points and six assists for the Celtics.

Boston C Robert Williams sprained his left ankle during Friday’s victory and is listed as questionable for this game. The Nets rank first in the league in offensive efficiency, so the over is worth a look to cash for the third straight time in this series. The stronger play is on Brooklyn to win and cover on the road. Final Score Prediction, Brooklyn Nets win 121-110.
