Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat 9/19/20 - NBA Picks & Predictions

Game Three of the Eastern Conference Finals will take place on Saturday night, when the Boston Celtics square off against the Miami Heat. The third-seeded Celtics have blown double digit leads in the first two games and are staring at a 2-0 series deficit. On Thursday, Boston led by as many as 17 points before falling by a 106-101 final score. The Celtics turned the ball over 20 times and shot 50 percent from the floor.

Boston G Kemba Walker tallied a team-high 23 points and seven rebounds. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown contributed 21 points each on a combined 14-for-26 shooting effort.

The Miami Heat have won ten of their first 11 playoff games and are starting to look like it might be their year. In Game Two, Miami outscored Boston by 20 points in the third quarter to erase a 13-point halftime deficit. The Heat connected on 14-for-43 from the three-point line and assisted on 27 of their 40 made field goals.

All five Miami starters scored in double figures and were led by Goran Dragic with 25 points. All-Star C Bam Adebayo added 21 points and ten rebounds for the Heat.

Boston G/F Gordon Hayward (ankle) was ruled out of Game Two and hopes to play at some point in this series. The Heat have needed two improbable comebacks to win and they might do it again. Boston needs to win Game Three if they have any hopes of making this a series. Take the Celtics to win and cover. Final Score Prediction, Boston Celtics 107-99.
