Boston Celtics at Washington Wizards 3/28/23 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Tuesday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Boston Celtics and the Washington Wizards from Capital One Arena. The Celtics (52-23) have won three straight games and trail Milwaukee by 1.5 games for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. On Sunday, Boston outscored San Antonio by 25 points during the fourth quarter of a 137-93 home victory.

Boston G Jaylen Brown poured in a game-high 41 points on 18-for-29 from the field and grabbed 13 rebounds. Malcolm Brogdon contributed 20 points and five rebounds off the bench for the Celtics, who shot a sizzling 57 percent from the field. 

The Washington Wizards have dropped eight of their previous ten games and are on the verge of being eliminated from postseason contention. On Sunday, Washington trailed by 16 points after one quarter during a 114-104 road loss against Toronto. The Wizards (33-42) were outrebounded by a 53-45 margin and turned the ball over 18 times in defeat.

Kristaps Porzingis led five Washington players in double figures with 26 points (9-17 FG) and six rebounds. Second-year pro Corey Kispert knocked down 5-for-11 from the three-point line and finished with 19 points. Johnny Davis added 15 points in 30 minutes off the bench for the Wizards.

Washington G Bradley Beal (left knee soreness) has missed the last few games and is listed as questionable for this contest. The Celtics are clearly the better team statistically, but the Wizards have covered seven of their previous ten games. Take the points. Final Score Prediction, Boston Celtics win 118-113.
