On Wednesday, the Boston Celtics visit the Orlando Magic for an NBA preseason clash. The Celtics are 2-0 to start the preseason opening with a 98-97 victory over Orlando last week and followed that with a 113-111 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Saturday. Jayson Tatum is in midseason form after leading the Celtics to the victory with 20 points against Toronto. Veteran center Al Horford scored 16 points for the Celtics.

In Boston's most recent victory over Toronto, the Celtics shot 46.9% overall and 47.5% from three-point territory. Boston outrebounded Toronto 49-45, but were careless with the ball as the Celtics turned the ball over 24 times. Boston only has two players battling with injuries as Jaylen Brown is out after testing positive for covid and Dennis Schroder is listed as day-to-day, with a knee injury, but is expected to play Wednesday.

Orlando has started its preseason with three consecutive losses. The Magic opened the preseason with a 97-97 loss to Boston and followed that last Wednesday with a 104-96 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans and on Sunday fell to the San Antonio Spurs 101-100. In Sunday's loss to San Antonio, Terrence Ross was the leading scorer for Orlando with 20 points.

Mo Bamba played well for Orlando in the loss scoring 16 points and pulling down a team-high 10 rebounds. However, Orlando was outrebounded 42-38 by San Antonio and the Magic turned the ball over 18 times. Orlando will play without Chuma Okeke, who is out with a hip injury. Jonathan Isaac is also out as is Markelle Fultz.

Boston has looked strong to start the preseason with two consecutive victories including a one-point win over Orlando in the opening game of the preseason. The Celtics behind the play of Jayson Tatum, Al Horford, Marcus Smart and Romeo Langford will wear down the Magic defense. Orlando continues to play well on the defensive end holding each opponent to 104 or less points in three preseason games but the Magic offense is averaging only 94.6 points per game. Final Score Prediction, Boston Celtics win and cover ATS 105-92.
