In Saturday NBA action, the Boston Celtics will travel to the Target Center to face the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Celtics (35-35) have lost four straight games and hold a two-game lead for seventh place in the East. On Wednesday, Boston was outscored by ten points during the fourth quarter of a 102-94 road loss against Cleveland.

All-Star F Jayson Tatum tallied a team-high 29 points on 11-for-26 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds. Evan Fournier added 15 points and four rebounds in a losing effort for the Celtics.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have won six of their last ten games and have been eliminated from postseason contention. On Wednesday, Minnesota managed just 14 points over the final 12 minutes of a 114-103 home loss versus Denver. The Timberwolves (22-48) were outrebounded by ten and shot just 43 percent from the field.

Number one overall draft pick Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 29 points on 8-for-16 shooting. Karl-Anthony Towns added 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Timberwolves.

Boston guards Kemba Walker (rest) and Marcus Smart (calf) will not suit up for this game. The Timberwolves have been playing well down the stretch and the Celtics have nothing to gain by winning. Take Minnesota to win at home. Final Score Prediction, Minnesota Timberwolves win 120-111.
