Last Updated: 05/26/2023 at 5:32 PM ET

Game Six of the Eastern Conference Finals will take place on Saturday night, when the Boston Celtics travel to South Beach to take on the Miami Heat. The Celtics are looking to become the first team in NBA history to overcome a 3-0 series deficit and rank second during the postseason in offensive efficiency. On Thursday, Boston raced out to a 15-point lead after one quarter and cruised to a 110-97 home victory.

Boston G Derrick White knocked down 6-for-8 from long distance and led all scorers with 24 points. Marcus Smart scored 23 points and finished with a team-high plus 20 rating. All-Stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown chipped in 21 points apiece on a combined 17-for-34 from the floor.

The Miami Heat are looking to make their seventh trip to the NBA Finals since 2005 and rank fourth during the playoffs in offensive efficiency. In Game Five, Miami played without starting G Gabe Vincent (ankle) and trailed 61-44 at halftime. The eighth-seeded Heat turned the ball over 16 times and shot 51 percent from the field.

Duncan Robinson led five Miami players in double figures with 18 points on 7-for-10 shooting in 28 minutes off the bench. All-Star C Bam Adebayo added 16 points on 8-for-15 from the field and grabbed eight rebounds. Jimmy Butler scored 14 points (5-10 FG) and finished with a game worst minus 24 rating.

Boston G Malcolm Brogdon (forearm) was limited to eight minutes last game and is listed as questionable for this contest. The Celtics have been hot from long range in the last two victories and I would expect a much more focused defensive effort by the Heat. Take Miami to win and advance to the NBA Finals. Final Score Prediction, Miami Heat win 109-104.
