The NBA Eastern Conference Finals will tip-off on Tuesday night with a battle between the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat from Ftx Arena. The second-seeded Celtics have won four of their last five games on the road and rank fourth this postseason in defensive efficiency. On Sunday, Boston knocked down 22-for-55 from the three-point line during a 109-81 home victory versus Milwaukee.

Boston F Grant Williams nailed a career-high seven three-pointers and finished with a game-high 27 points. All-Star F Jayson Tatum contributed 23 points, eight assists, and six rebounds for the Celtics.

The Miami Heat won a conference best 29 home games during the regular season and rank second during the playoffs in defensive efficiency. On Thursday, Miami outscored Philadelphia by ten points during the third quarter to pull away for a 99-90 road victory. The top-seeded Heat dominated the 76ers on the glass by a 49-35 margin and shot 48 percent from the field.

All-Star G/F Jimmy Butler led all scorers with 32 points on 13-for-29 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds. Max Strus added 20 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists for the Heat.

Boston G Marcus Smart (foot) is listed as questionable and Miami G Kyle Lowry (hamstring) has been officially ruled out for the series opener.
