The Boston Celtics will look to stave off elimination when they visit the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night. The seventh-seeded Celtics broke through with a win in Game Three on their home floor, but are staring at a 3-1 series deficit. On Sunday, Boston led by as many as nine points in the first half before falling versus Brooklyn by a 141-126 final score. The Celtics shot 14-for-41 from long distance and 44 percent overall.

All-Star F Jayson Tatum converted all 17 free throw attempts and finished with a team-high 40 points. Marcus Smart and Evan Fournier added 16 points apiece for the Celtics.

The Brooklyn Nets won 28 of their 36 home games during the regular season and appear to be the favorites to win the NBA Championship. In Game Four, Brooklyn outscored Boston by 14 points during the second quarter and led by as many as 27 points in the second half. The Nets nailed 16-for-27 from the three-point line and shot a scorching 58 percent overall.

All-Star F Kevin Durant poured in a game-high 42 points on a 14-for-20 shooting performance. Kyrie Irving contributed 39 points and 11 rebounds, while James Harden added 23 points and 18 assists for the Nets.

Boston G Kemba Walker (knee) was ruled out of Sunday’s loss and is listed as questionable for this game. The over has cashed three straight times in this series, so that is my lean on the total. The stronger play is on Boston to keep things close in an elimination game. Final Score Prediction, Brooklyn Nets win 121-114.
