Aces at Fever 8/27/19 - WNBA Picks & Predictions

The Las Vegas Aces look to snap a two-game losing streak when they visit the Indiana Fever on Tuesday. The Aces were defeated on Sunday by the Minnesota Lynx 98-77. Jackie Young led the Aces in the loss with 14 points. The Aces turned the ball over 16 times in the loss and were outscored in the second half 53-34.

Indiana snapped a three-game losing streak on Sunday with a 63-54 win over the Seattle Storm in a defensive struggle. Teaira McCowan led the Fever with 22 points and 19 boards. The win kept the Fever’s very slim hopes alive to reach the postseason. The Fever is 10-19 on the season and in fourth place in the Eastern Conference and ninth place in the postseason standings.

Liz Cambage is leading in scoring and rebounding with averages of 16.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game for the Aces. A’ja Wilson is the second leading scorer and second leading rebounder for Las Vegas with averages of 15.9 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Jackie Young leads the Aces in assists with an average of 4.4 per game.

Kelsey Mitchell leads the Fever in scoring with an average of 12.5 points per game. Teaira McCowan is the leading rebounder with an average of 8.4 per game. Erica Wheeler leads in assists with an average of 5.2 per game and is third in scoring with an average of 10.9 points per game. Indiana has three players averaging double figures in scoring.

Las Vegas is going through a bit of a slump having lost two straight and dropping out of first place in the Western Conference and down to a No. 4 seed in the playoffs if the season ended today. The Fever is 3 ½ games behind the eighth and final spot in the playoffs and has plenty to play for in this matchup. Indiana will come up short straight up but covers at home. Final Score Prediction, Las Vegas Aces win but fall short ATS 78-76.
