In the first game of a Thursday night NBA on TNT doubleheader, the Philadelphia 76ers will invade Bankers Life Fieldhouse to face the Indiana Pacers.

The 76ers are two games below .500 on the road and a game behind Indiana in the Eastern Conference standings. On Tuesday, Philadelphia torched Minnesota for 83 points during the first half of a 42-point home victory. The 76ers out rebounded the Timberwolves by 17 and shot a sizzling 60 percent from the field.

Philadelphia Joel Embiid tallied a game high 31 points and 13 rebounds in just 27 minutes of action. Jimmy Butler chipped in 19 points on 8-for-10 shooting against his former team. The Indiana Pacers have won 15 of their first 20 home games and are currently just three games behind Toronto for the top spot in the East. On Tuesday, Indiana jumped out to a 19-point lead after one quarter and cruised to a 131-97 home victory versus Phoenix. The Pacers connected on 12-for-25 from long distance and assisted on 31 of their 46 made field goals.

Bojan Bogdanovic led six Indiana players in double figures with 20 points and five rebounds. Myles Turner added 18 points and six rebounds for the Pacers.

Philadelphia G Markelle Fultz (shoulder) remains out indefinitely and it is unclear if he will return this season. These two teams rank in the top ten in defensive efficiency and the under is definitely on the radar. The better bet is for Philadelphia to score a key road victory on Thursday. Final Score Prediction, Philadelphia 76ers win in upset but grab the points just in case 112-109.
