76ers at Nets 4/18/19 - NBA Playoffs Picks & Predictions

The Thursday NBA Playoff schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets from Barclays Center. The 76ers won 51 games during the regular season and have one of the most talented starting lineups in the league. On Monday, Philadelphia exploded for 51 points during the third quarter of a 145-123 home victory versus Brooklyn. The 76ers dominated the Nets on the glass by a 62-41 margin and shot a sizzling 56 percent from the field.

Philadelphia C Joel Embiid led all scorers with 23 points on 8-for-12 shooting and grabbed ten rebounds. Tobias Harris chipped in 19 points and five rebounds for the 76ers. The Brooklyn Nets were five games above .500 at home during the regular season and overachieved for head coach Kenny Atkinson. The Nets won the first game of this series and trailed by just a point at halftime of Game Two. Brooklyn was outscored by 28 points during the third quarter and connected on 15-for-36 from the three-point line in defeat.

Spencer Dinwiddie tallied a team high 19 points on 8-for-16 shooting in 23 minutes off the Brooklyn bench. D’Angelo Russell added 16 points in a losing effort for the Nets.

Brooklyn F Jared Dudley (calf) did not play in Game Two and is listed as questionable for this matchup. These teams have struggled defensively and the over is worth consideration. Philadelphia is the better offensive unit and holds an edge on the glass. Take the 76ers to take a 2-1 series lead. Final Score Prediction, Philadelphia 76ers win and cover ATS 119-110.
