The World’s Most Famous Arena will play host to a Wednesday night matchup between the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks.

This will be the second of a back-to-back for Philadelphia, who was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 112-109 home loss versus Boston last night. The 76ers missed 18 of their 27 three-point attempts and fell into a tie with the Celtics for fourth place in the East.

All five Philadelphia starters scored in double figures and were led by Joel Embiid with 23 points. Jimmy Butler added 22 points and nine rebounds for the 76ers. The New York Knicks have lost a franchise record 17 games in a row and have their sights set on striking it rich in free agency this offseason. On Monday, New York’s rally from a 15-point halftime deficit fell just short during a 107-104 road loss against Cleveland. The Knicks were out rebounded by a 64-52 margin and shot 46 percent from the field.

New York G Kadeem Allen tallied a game high 25 points in 32 minutes off the bench. Rookie F Kevin Knox added 13 points and six rebounds in a losing effort for the Knicks.
