76ers at Cavaliers 11/17/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

Last Updated: 11/16/2019 at 10:08 PM ET

The Sunday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matinee between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Cleveland Cavaliers from the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. The 76ers have lost five of their last seven games and rank sixth in the league in rebounding. On Friday, Philadelphia allowed Oklahoma City to shoot 54 percent from the field during a 127-119 overtime loss.

All-Star C Joel Embiid tallied a game high 31 points on 12-for-24 shooting and grabbed 12 rebounds. Ben Simmons added 16 points to go along with 11 rebounds and eight assists for the 76ers.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have lost seven of their first 11 games for first year head coach John Beilein. On Thursday, Cleveland was outscored by 24 points during the first half of a 108-97 home loss versus Miami. The Cavaliers were torched for 68 points over the first 24 minutes and allowed the Heat to shoot 54 percent for the game.

Kevin Love led six Cleveland players in double figures with 21 points and ten rebounds. Larry Nance Jr. added 14 points and eight rebounds in 23 minutes off the bench.

Cleveland C Larry Nance Jr. is dealing with a thumb injury and is listed as doubtful for this matchup. These two teams rank in the bottom third of the league in offensive efficiency, so my lean on the total is on the under. Take Philadelphia to pull away for a double-digit road victory. Final Score Prediction, Philadelphia 76ers 113-100.
