The NBA Championship just ended, but the odds are already out for next year. So who is going to come in as the favorite and who is going to have the best chance? Well, that all remains to be seen as there is a lot to happen on the year still with free agency. However, the start of the NBA season is projected to come after Christmas.
Now, as you can imagine the Lakers are the front runner to win the NBA title next year. However, the other top teams were eliminated early on in the playoffs this year in the Clippers, Bucks, and even the Celtics. One team that is coming in at a +1200 is the Golden State Warriors, but even then that could be a tremendous stretch since the Warriors have to rely on players coming back from injuries.
The runner up team the Miami Heat are coming in as a +1400. The downside is that is the same rating as the Brooklyn Nets. Just imagine the Heat, who ran up this year are that low on the table. Now, the Heat do have a good chance to come back, but the Heat will not surprise as many teams as last year.
