The New York Yankees continue with their road series against the Texas Rangers on Wednesday in Arlington.
The Yankees defeated the Rangers in the first game of the series 10-5 behind two home runs off the bat of Gleyber Torres and five home runs overall. Both Torres home runs were against Bartolo Colon. Neil Walker and Aaron Judge each hit home runs against Colon, while Aaron Hicks hit a two-run home run in the ninth.

New York has a team batting average of .258 while opposing hitters are averaging .222 at the plate against Yankees pitching. On Wednesday, the Yankees will send CC Sabathia to the mound. Nomar Mazara leads the Rangers with a .273 batting average and a team high 50 hits. Joey Gallo is the team leader in home runs with 14 and RBIs with 31. Texas has a team batting average of .225 while opposing hitters are averaging .271 at the plate against Rangers hitting. Texas will send Doug Fister to the mound on Wednesday.
