Washington Nationals at San Francisco Giants 4/30/22 - MLB Picks & Predictions

AT&T Park will play host to a Saturday afternoon MLB clash between the Washington Nationals and the San Francisco Giants. The Nationals (7-15) have split their first eight road games and are sitting in last place in the NL East Division standings. Last night, Josh Bell and Maikel Franco collected four hits each during a 14-4 road triumph against San Francisco. 

Rookie right-hander Joan Adon (1-3 6.98 ERA) will make his sixth career major league start for the Nationals. Through 24 plus innings, Adon has surrendered 28 hits and issued 13 walks.

The San Francisco Giants have won five of their first eight home games and trail Los Angeles by a half-game for first place in the NL West Division. During Friday's home loss, six San Francisco pitchers combined to be shelled for 22 hits and issued seven walks. Jason Vosler hit a two-run blast in a losing effort for the Giants, who fell to 13-7 on the season.

The Giants will give the nod to twenty-five year old righty Logan Webb (2-1 2.96 ERA) on Saturday. In his last start, Webb allowed three runs over six plus innings during a 12-3 road victory against Washington.
