Citizens Bank Park will play host to a Sunday afternoon MLB clash between the Washington Nationals and the Philadelphia Phillies. Last night, Washington SP Erick Fedde (6-10) gave up four runs in three plus innings during an 8-5 road loss against Philadelphia. 

Thirty-eight year old righty Anibal Sanchez (2-5 4.56 ERA) will make his 11th start of the season. The Nationals have won Sanchez’s last five starts and he has allowed just five runs over his last 26 plus frames.

The Philadelphia Phillies are 12 games above .500 at home and are tied with San Diego for second place in the NL Wild Card standings. On Saturday, OF Brandon Marsh hit one of Philadelphia's four home runs as part of a three-hit day. SP Ranger Suarez (9-5) allowed four runs in six plus innings to earn the win for the Phillies, who improved to 77-62 on the year. 

The Phillies will turn to talented right-hander Aaron Nola (9-11 3.35 ERA) on Sunday. Through 177 plus innings, Nola has struck out 200 batters and ranks sixth in the National League with a 0.97 WHIP.
