The Nationals (52-97) have dropped seven of their previous ten games and own the worst overall record in the majors. On Wednesday, Joey Meneses hit a two-run blast in the eighth inning to lift Washington to a 3-2 road victory against Atlanta.

Twenty-four year old righty Josiah Gray (7-9 5.14 ERA) is one of the key pieces for the Washington rebuild. Through 136 plus innings, Gray has struck out 149 batters and owns a subpar 1.38 WHIP.
