Jesus Aguilar showed the only sign of life in the Miami offense driving in the only run of the game.
Jesus Luzardo got the start from Miami against Washington giving up five runs on ten hits including two home runs in 4.2 innings of work resulting in the loss. The Miami bullpen however pitched well giving up only one hit and no runs, while striking out five batters across the final 5.1 innings.
