Toronto struggled from the plate against Los Angeles with only four hits on the day including 2-4 with runners in scoring position to leave four men on base. Vlad Guerrero Jr., Lourdes Gurriel Jr., and Randal Grichuk led the way for the Toronto offense driving in one run each.
Jose Berrios took the loss for Toronto after giving up six runs on eight hits across 4.1 innings of work. the Toronto bullpen combined for the final three innings of the game giving up three hits and no runs to conclude the loss.
The Seattle Mariners have won two straight games bringing their season record to 61-55 good enough for third place in the AL West. Marco Gonzales led the way for Seattle giving up one run on only two hits, while striking out nine batters in a complete game performance to pick up the win.
The Seattle offense struggled in the game going 0-4 with runners in scoring position to leave five men on base. Seattle relied on the long ball against Texas as Jake Fraley and J.P Crawford led the way as each hit a solo home run.
