The Toronto Blue Jays play the second game of a three-game interleague series on the road Saturday against the Milwaukee Brewers. Toronto is 39-30 following its 9-5 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday. The Blue Jays were off on Thursday and Toronto has struggled a bit of late, losing five of the last seven. The Blue Jays are second in the American League East  East,12 ½ games behind the first-place New York Yankees.

Alejandro Kirk is batting .307 to lead Toronto and the catcher has a team high .395 on base percentage. First baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr has 17 home runs and 42 RBIs to lead Toronto in both and shortstop Bo Bichette is the leader in hits with 75. Milwaukee is 40-32 following its 6-4 victory over the St Louis Cardinals on Thursday. Tyrone Taylor belted a three-run home run, and Willy Adames also went yard for Milwaukee. The Brewers split a four-game series with the Cardinals.  Milwaukee is tied for first place in the National League Central with St Louis, 9 ½ games ahead of the third-place Pittsburgh Pirates.
