The Toronto Blue Jays play the second game of a three-game series on the road Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles. Toronto is 90-69 following its 6-3 victory over the Boston Red Sox on Sunday. Toronto swept Boston in a three-game series and the Blue Jays have won six of the last eight. Blue Jays starting pitcher Kevin Gausman had to leave the game early with a cut on his right middle finger and that could come into play since Toronto has qualified for the postseason.

Left fielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr is batting .291 to lead Toronto, while first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr is the leader in home runs with 31 and RBIs with 96. Shortstop Bo Bichette has a team high 187 hits and catcher Alejandro Kirk is the leader and on-base percentage at .376. On Tuesday, the Toronto Blue Jays will send Mitch White to the mound. The right-hander is 1-6 with a 5.21 ERA, 74 Ks and 34 BBs.

The Baltimore Orioles improved to 82-77 following a 3-1 victory over the New York Yankees on Sunday. Baltimore won two of three over the American League East champion Yankees over the weekend, but the Orioles have lost four of the last six and have been eliminated from postseason contention. Baltimore will finish fourth in the AL East.

Center fielder Cedric Mullins is batting .261 to lead Baltimore and has a team-high 157 hits. Right fielder Anthony Santander is the leader in home runs with 33, RBIs with 88 and on-base percentage at .321. On Tuesday, the Baltimore Orioles will send Mike Baumann to the mound. The right-hander is 1-3 with a 4.34 ERA, 19 Ks and 8 BBs.

Baltimore has won seven of the last 10 versus a right-handed starting pitcher. Toronto starting pitcher Mitch White has struggled in each of the last five outings allowing 17 earned runs across 20 ⅓ innings resulting in Toronto losing each of the five, including a 9-6 loss to Baltimore on September 6. Baltimore starting pitcher Mike Baumann has allowed two earned runs or less in each of the last four starts. Final Score Prediction, Baltimore Orioles win 5-4.
