Seattle lost 5-1 on Wednesday to the Texas Rangers snapping its two-game winning streak. Seattle’s offensive attack was stymied by 44-year old Bartolo Colon who kept them at bay for 7 2/3 innings.
Nicholas Castellanos leads the Tigers with a .316 batting average and team high in hits with 48 and RBIs with 24. Leonys Martin leads in home runs with five. Detroit has a team batting average of .261, while opposing hitters are averaging .255 at the plate against Tigers pitching. On Friday, the Tigers will send Michael Fulmer to the mound.
