NL West Division rivals will clash on Wednesday afternoon, when the San Francisco Giants and the Colorado Rockies wrap up their series from Coors Field. The Giants (22-14) have won eight of their last ten games and trail first place Los Angeles by 1.5 games. Last night, San Francisco OF Mike Yastrzemski collected three hits and scored three runs during a 10-7 road victory. 

Twenty-five year old righty Logan Webb (5-1 3.48 ERA) will take the mound for the Giants in this matchup. San Francisco has won Webb’s last four starts and he has given up 11 runs over his last 23 plus frames.

The Colorado Rockies are looking to snap a three-game skid and are trying to climb out of the NL Central Division basement. On Tuesday, Colorado SP Chad Kuhl (3-2) gave up six runs (5 ER) in three innings and took the loss. !B C.J. Cron had a three-hit night and scored three times in a losing effort for the Rockies (17-19).

The Rockies will counter with twenty-nine year old lefty Kyle Freeland (1-4 4.91 ERA) on Wednesday. Last time out, Freeland was tagged for eight runs (6 ER) during a 14-10 home loss versus Kansas City. 

Colorado 3B Kris Bryant (back) is expected to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Albuquerque this week. Through 36 games, San Francisco ranks 9th in OPS and 3rd in runs scored.
