The Colorado Rockies are three games above .500 at home and have fallen 18 games off the pace in the NL West Division race. On Wednesday, SS Jose Iglesias went deep and drove in six runs to power the Colorado offense. OF Sam Hilliard contributed three hits and scored three times for the Rockies, who improved to 40-49 on the season.

The Rockies will give the nod to twenty-nine year old lefty Kyle Freeland (4-7 4.70 ERA) on Thursday. Colorado has dropped Freeland’s last two starts and he has surrendered ten runs over his last 12 frames.
