Offensively San Diego was abysmal from the plate against Seattle with only seven hits in 34 at bats including 1-8 with runners in scoring position to leave nine men on base. Jorge Alfaro was the only spark in the San Diego lineup with one hit in four at bats to drive in one run.

The Arizona Diamondbacks limp into Friday Following a walk off win over the Los Angeles Dodgers Wednesday night. Zach Davies took the mound for Arizona on Wednesday giving up two runs on four hits across 5.1 innings of work leading to a no decision. The Arizona bullpen was lights out allowing no runs on no hits before Reyes Moronta came on to allow one run on one hit leading to the victory.

Offensively Arizona was terrible in the game with only five hits in 34 at bats but one hit with runners in scoring position was the difference. Daulton Varsho and Corbin Carroll carried the Arizona offense through the first nine innings driving in one run each, while Sergio Alcantara hit a pinch hit three run home run in the bottom of the 10th inning to win the game.
