Royals at Indians 7/25/20 - MLB Picks & Predictions

The Kansas City Royals travel on the road to Cleveland to take on the Indians for a divisional battle to start the season. The Indians come in at the second-best odds to win the AL Central at +280, after just missing the playoff last season. The Royals expect to have a bit of a down season following their 59-103 record last season.

Taking the mound for the Indians will be Mike Clevinger after the Indians traded away star pitcher Corey Kluber in the offseason. Clevinger was solid last year finishing with a 13-4 record and a 2.71 ERA.

The Indians despite a down year last year, still have to consider a force in the American League with young stars like Fransisco Lindor leading the way at the plate. 

The Royals will send out Brady Singer who was not in the majors last year makes his first appearance. The Royals could be improved this season especially if guys like Whit Merrifield and Adalberto Mondesi can continue their improvement.
