The Cleveland Indians have dealt with injuries to their starting pitching staff and are trying to hang on in the AL Central Division race. On Sunday, Cleveland’s offense exploded for five runs during the second inning of an 8-3 home victory versus Detroit. Bobby Bradley doubled and drove in a run in his first major league plate appearance for the Indians, who have won three straight.

Twenty-seven year old righty Adam Plutko (3-1 4.55 ERA) will make his sixth start of the season for the Indians. Through 27 plus innings, Plutko has struck out 22 batters and owns a solid 1.12 WHIP.
