In Friday afternoon MLB playoff action, the Colorado Rockies and Milwaukee Brewers will play Game Two of the NLDS from Miller Park. On Thursday, Colorado rallied for two runs in the ninth inning to tie the game before falling in the tenth inning of a 3-2 defeat. Charlie Blackmon and Nolan Arenado drove in the runs for the Rockies in a losing effort.

Twenty-eight year old southpaw Tyler Anderson (7-9 4.55 ERA) will take the mound for the Rockies in this matchup. In his last three starts, Anderson posted a 1.83 ERA and a 0.97 WHIP in 19 plus innings of work. The Milwaukee Brewers have won nine straight games and look like the team to beat in the National League. In Game One, Mike Moustakas singled home MVP front-runner Christian Yelich with the game winning run in extra innings. Yelich homered, stole a base, and accounted for all the Milwaukee runs on the day.

Milwaukee skipper Craig Counsell will turn to thirty year old righty Jhoulys Chacin (15-8 3.50 ERA) on Friday. Chacin will be working on short rest after logging five plus innings during Monday’s victory over the Cubs.
