The MLB Division Series round will get underway on Thursday evening, when the Colorado Rockies travel to Miller Park to face the Milwaukee Brewers. The Rockies were unable to capture the NL West Division title during Monday’s loss in game 163 at Los Angeles, but bounced back with an exciting 2-1 victory at Colorado during Tuesday’s NL Wild Card game. Tony Wolters delivered a tie-breaking single in the 13th inning to give the Rockies the win.

Twenty-three year old righty Antonio Senzatela (6-6 4.38 ERA) will take the mound for the Rockies in this matchup. In five September starts, Senzatela was 2-1 with a 3.25 ERA and allowed a .272 opponents batting average. The Milwaukee Brewers entered the 2018 postseason riding a seven-game winning streak and defeated Chicago on Monday to capture home field advantage until the World Series. During Monday’s 3-1 road victory over the Cubs, five Milwaukee pitchers combined to allowed three hits and strike out eight batters. NL MVP candidate Christian Yelich had three hits and drove in a run for the Brewers.

Milwaukee manager Craig Counsell has said that he will not use a traditional starter for this contest and opt to use an opener. The Brewers have one of the best bullpens in the majors and rank 5th with a 3.73 team ERA.

Milwaukee C Stephen Vogt (shoulder) said he’s hoping to play in 2019. Through 162 games, Colorado ranked 6th in batting average and 7th in runs scored.
