The Cincinnati Reds are in the desert southwest to play the Arizona Diamondbacks in the second game of a three-game series on Saturday. Cincinnati defeated the Seattle Mariners on Thursday 11-5. Freddy Galvis belted a grand slam that put the Reds ahead and Eugenio Suarez connected for another homer, his 45th, as the Reds picked up the win on the road.

Arizona lost its fifth straight after falling to the New York Mets 11-1 on Thursday. The D-Backs were swept in the four-game series by the Mets. Arizona starter Alex Young gave up six runs, with only one earned, and five hits over just 2 2/3 innings. Young fell to 7-4 on the season with the loss.

Jose Iglesias is leading Cincinnati with a .288 batting average. Eugenio Suarez leads in home runs with 45, RBIs with 98 and in hits with 141.
