The Reds are a team that has been able to play all over the place this year. The downside is when the Reds are playing on the road the team has had a lot of issues in bringing home a win. The Braves, on the other hand, have improved their bullpen in what was already a strong pitching rotation. That improvement along with the fact that the Reds traded away some of their offense definitely will hurt the Reds chances changing how they have played on the road.

The Reds offense on the year has managed to get a total of 892 hits at a .246 average. The Reds have scored a total of 483 runs with 146 homers on the year. For the Braves the team has managed to get a total of 1008 hits and a .262 average. The Braves have scored a total of 591 runs with 173 homers on the year. Sonny Gray is the pitcher who starts this game for the Reds. He has posted a 6-6 record and a 3.45 ERA. Gray has ended up throwing a total of 114.2 innings on the year with 130 strikeouts, but has walked 39 batters while giving up a total of 91 hits.

Julio Teheran the former Braves ace is the starter the Braves are putting on the mound. He has managed to get a 6-7 record with a 3.38 ERA on the year. He has thrown a total of 125 innings on the year with 114 strikeouts, but has walked 56 batters and allowed 104 hits this year.

The Reds offense is definitely going to struggle in this game. Not to mention the Braves have the bullpen help that is needed as Teheran is one of those that is unable to go really deep in the game. However, the Reds hitters are unable to make much of a difference in this game and that cost the Reds this game even with a strong performance from Gray. Final Score Prediction, Atlanta Braves win 7-5.
