The 2018 World Series will continue on Saturday night, when the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers play Game Four from Dodger Stadium. The Red Sox took the first two games of this series at home and lost last night in 18 innings by a 3-2 final score. Boston led 2-1 in the 13th inning, but a throwing error by 2B Ian Kinsler allowed Yasiel Puig to score the tying run with two outs.

Boston manager Alex Cora did not announce a starter for Game Four, but did mention that it would be a lefty. Twenty-nine year old southpaw Drew Pomeranz (2-6 6.08 ERA) could get the nod and has not appeared yet this postseason. The Los Angeles Dodgers were an out away from facing a 3-0 deficit in this series, but have new life after Max Muncy’s dramatic walk-off blast. SP Walker Buehler struck out seven batters and allowed just two hits across seven scoreless innings. Muncy was 2-for-6 at the plate and scored twice on the night.

Thirty-eight year old southpaw Rich Hill (11-5 3.66 ERA) will get the nod for the Dodgers on Saturday. Through ten plus innings this postseason, Hill has allowed eight hits and three earned runs.

Boston P Steven Wright is dealing with a knee injury and was left off the World Series roster. Through 162 regular season games, Boston ranked 1st in batting average and 1st in runs scored. For the season, Los Angeles ranked 14th in batting average and 5th in runs scored. The home team has won all three games in this series and that trend will continue on Saturday. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Dodgers win 5-3.
